Faqs

Q1: Who is this partnership designed for?

Answer

This partnership is designed for coaches, trainers and independent providers who already deliver structured coaching or development programmes and want clients to gain recognised professional qualifications alongside that learning.

Q2: Do I need to become a CMI Centre?

Answer

No. Qualifications are delivered through TFL Education as a CMI Approved Centre, so you do not need to apply for centre status or manage awarding body requirements.

Q3: Do I need to change my programme to fit the qualification?

Answer

No. Your programme stays exactly as it is. TFL Education maps learning outcomes to appropriate CMI units where there is alignment. Your content, delivery approach and intellectual property remain unchanged.

Q4: Who delivers the programme and who assesses the work?

Answer

You deliver your programme in full. TFL Education manages learner registration, assessment, quality assurance, moderation and certification through our CMI Approved Centre.

Q5: What qualifications can my clients achieve?

Answer

Depending on the scope and depth of your programme, clients may achieve CMI Awards, Certificates, Diplomas or Extended Diplomas at Levels 3, 5 or 7, including pathways that support progression to Chartered Manager.

Q6: Can my clients progress beyond a single qualification?

Answer

Yes. Many coaches use this partnership model to offer clear progression routes, allowing clients to move from Awards to Certificates or Diplomas, or progress toward Chartered Manager through TFL Education.

Q7: How does pricing work?

Answer

You set your programme fee. TFL Education’s qualification fees are fixed and published, and you add your fee on top. Responsibilities remain clearly separated behind the scenes.

Q8: Who pays CMI registration and certification fees?

Answer

These are included within TFL Education’s qualification fee. You do not need to manage or invoice awarding body fees directly.

Q9: Do I need a minimum number of clients or cohorts?

Answer

No. You can start with a single client, a small cohort, or a larger programme. The partnership model is flexible and scales with your delivery.

Q10: What is the next step if I’m interested?

Answer

The next step is a short mapping conversation to confirm alignment, qualification level and unit selection. You can then decide whether the partnership feels right for you and your clients.
