Faqs
Q1: Who is this partnership designed for?
Answer
This partnership is designed for organisations that already deliver leadership, management or people development programmes and want those programmes to lead to recognised professional qualifications.
Q2: Do I need to become a CMI Centre?
Answer
No. Qualifications are delivered through TFL Education as a CMI Approved Centre, so organisations do not need to apply for centre status or manage awarding body requirements.
Q3: Does this replace or change our existing programme?
Answer
No. Your programme remains exactly as it is. TFL Education maps learning outcomes to appropriate CMI units where there is alignment. Delivery methods, content and ownership stay with your organisation.
Q4: Who delivers the programme and who assesses the work?
Answer
Your organisation delivers the programme. TFL Education manages learner registration, assessment, quality assurance, moderation and certification through our CMI Approved Centre.
Q5: What qualifications can employees achieve?
Answer
Depending on programme scope and seniority, employees may achieve CMI Awards, Certificates, Diplomas or Extended Diplomas at Levels 3, 5 or 7, including pathways that support progression to Chartered Manager.
Q6: Can this support progression to Chartered Manager?
Answer
Yes. Many organisations use this partnership model to align development pathways with Chartered Manager progression, providing formal recognition for leadership capability and experience.
Q7: How does pricing work for organisations?
Answer
Qualification fees are fixed and published by TFL Education. Organisations pay the qualification fee directly, while retaining control of internal programme budgets and delivery investment.
Q8: Do employees pay directly for the qualification?
Answer
In most cases, the organisation funds the qualification as part of its development provision. Some organisations may pass costs on to employees where appropriate.
Q9: Is there a minimum cohort size?
Answer
No. Organisations can begin with a pilot cohort or individual learners and scale over time as required.
Q10: What is the next step if we want to explore this further?
Answer
The next step is a short review of your existing programme to confirm alignment, qualification level and potential pilot scope. You can then decide how you wish to proceed.
