The Gap That Started It All

My journey into leadership development started with a gap I experienced first-hand.

As a teacher and Head of Sixth Form, I saw capable individuals stepping into leadership roles without a clear pathway to develop, progress, or gain recognised credibility.

That gap still exists today:

Leadership development builds capability, but it doesn’t always lead to real impact or recognised progression.

Building a Different Pathway

In 2008, I left teaching to build something different.

TFL Education was created to connect leadership development to outcomes — ensuring learning leads to confidence, capability and credibility in practice.

What I Do Today

Today, I work directly with individuals, organisations and schools to design leadership pathways that lead somewhere.

This includes:

→ Supporting professionals to achieve recognised progression
→ Aligning organisational development to measurable impact and external credibility
→ Enabling schools to provide meaningful, real-world leadership pathways
→ Partnering with providers to translate existing programmes into recognised outcomes

Recognised, Proven Impact

Through our partnership with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), TFL Education operates as an Accredited Centre and Chartered Manager Assessment Centre.

In 2025 alone, I supported over 100 individuals in achieving professional qualifications and progressing in their careers.

My Approach to Leadership Development

I believe leadership development should do more than build knowledge.

It should lead to:

→ Real impact in the role
→ Recognised progression beyond it

That’s what every pathway I design is built to achieve.

Working With Me

I continue to work directly with every learner and organisation I support.

No generic delivery.
No distance between learning and outcome.

Just clear, personalised pathways that turn leadership development into real impact — and recognised progression.
