Level 5 Managing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion


The Level 5 Managing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion qualification is awarded to outstanding individuals. Awarded by the Chartered Management Institute, it is recognised throughout the public and private sectors and across all management disciplines.

The aim is to support you in establishing equality, diversity and inclusion as important drivers of organisational performance, benefitting staff and stakeholders. The unit will enable you to understand the business case for equality, diversity and inclusion and the role of managers in creating inclusive cultures. It focuses on the skills required for inclusive leadership and how to adapt leadership styles to support others in seeing the benefits of inclusion. You will be able to analyse the requirements of managing, planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting on equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Learners must complete the one unit below to a minimum of 5 credits. The minimum Total Unit Time is 50 hours, including 19 Guided Learning Hours.
