TFL Education Ltd & the CMI
TFL Education has forged a strong relationship with the Royal Chartered Management Institute (CMI). The CMI is the only chartered professional body in the UK dedicated to promoting excellence in the practice of management and leadership. The Institute is the authority responsible for the National Occupational Standards for Management and Leadership.
With their encouragement, we have re-written several of the Institute's professional programmes to allow them to be accessible to young people. The Award in Team Leading and the Award in First Line Management provide strong evidence to gatekeepers of Higher Education and industry leaders that our young people are far more capable than they are often credited to be. TFL's partners also provide the opportunity for Senior Leaders within schools to gain Fellowship and the prestigious Chartered Manager (CMgr) status.
Our success in driving this message in to schools has led to TFL being honoured as the CMI's Education Ambassadors.
TFL Education Ltd & ASDAN
If we were to engage with the widest possible student audience we realised that we would also need to produce courses that had currency with the examination boards.
We have forged a strong relationship with ASDAN, the UK's largest provider of Key Skills awards to accredit Key Skills for Leadership. The course explores problem solving, improving one's own performance and working with others, and can be taken alongside GCSE, IGCSE, IB, A levels or vocational courses.
TFL Education Ltd & World Leadership Academy
The number of schools in the UK and worldwide who see the importance of incorporating TFL Education's student development and leadership programmes in to the taught area of the curriculum continues to increase. Our personal development courses and professional awards are a validation of the skills that are crucial to success in 21st century economies.
TFL client schools recognise that their students are about to enter a world where the old order is changing and where personal growth and self-management is as important as academic achievement. Not every school has this clarity of vision. We hope that our efforts and the example of our client schools can carry our message to them.
